Tottenham Hotspur's Christian Eriksen's current contract expires in the summer of 2020. However, reports from The Daily Mail claim that Eriksen isn't keen on signing an extension as he is believed to be exploring his options.

As per the report, as well as one from Spanish publication AS, Eriksen's agent spoke about the matter recently, but remained coy about the 26-year-old's future, as he said:

I would prefer not to comment on issues of contracts and transfers, Christian would like to focus on his football, it was his concentration, along with his football qualities, what has taken him to this very high level, we will see what the future brings.

Further, a source close to the star reportedly said that an extension agreement with Spurs is looking "very, very difficult".

The reports suggest that Real Madrid - who have been linked with Eriksen recently - are leading the race with an 11/4 chance of signing the Danish star. Barcelona reportedly stand the second-best chance at 10/1. In joint-third place sit Manchester United - the Premier League side with the best chance - and Paris Saint-Germain, with odds of 16/1.
