Barcelona and Real Madrid to battle for Premier League superstar, Zidane-Neymar swap deal planned, and more: Transfer round-up - 20th March 2018
Good evening and welcome to Sportskeeda's latest transfer news and rumours roundup. Despite the season now entering its business end, top clubs are also keeping their eyes on potential transfer targets.
And as always, there are stories which make headlines irrespective of the transfer window being open or shut. The transfer world has been eerily silent today but we have still managed to get a bunch of stories that made headlines on 20th March 2018:
La Liga
PSG want Zinedine Zidane included in the deal for Neymar
The Parisians are now reportedly ready to let Neymar join Real Madrid in the summer but only on one condition. El Gol Digital has revealed that PSG want Zinedine Zidane to take over from Unai Emery and have identified the French manager as the catalyst who will make or break the deal for Real Madrid.
Los Blancos are keen on signing Neymar and had even offered Cristiano Ronaldo earlier in the year. But PSG reportedly rejected that offer (God knows why) and have now put forward the condition of Zinedine Zidane coming to Paris to let the Brazilian superstar leave for €400 million.
Real Madrid and FC Barcelona want Mohamed Salah
According to reports from The Sun, Real Madrid and FC Barcelona are ready to break the transfer record and make a £200 million bid for Mohamed Salah in the summer. The Egyptian has taken everyone by surprise with his stunning form and has already notched up 36 goals in all competitions.
Liverpool face another tough summer rejecting advances from the super-rich clubs with PSG also allegedly monitoring Salah's progress.
