Manchester United enter race for Adrien Rabiot
Manchester United are the latest entrants to the race to sign disgruntled PSG midfielder Adrien Rabiot, according to AS (courtesy: Sky Sports). Manchester United is the fourth Premier League team to have been credited with an interest in Rabiot after Arsenal, Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur.
Rabiot has been forced to the sidelines after he refused to extend the contract with the Ligue 1 champions. Manchester United are looking for a tall, lanky midfielder who can physically dominate teams following the departure of Marouane Fellaini.
Paulo Dybala will be the subject of a £105m bid from Real Madrid
Real Madrid will move for Argentine attacker Paulo Dybala at the end of the season, according to AS. Los Blancos are looking revitalize their ageing squad and have identified the 25-year-old as the ideal man to reinvigorate their frontline.
Real Madrid are likely to offload Gareth Bale at the end of the season as he continues to struggle to fit into the squad and Dybala is seen as a long-term replacement for him.
Marcelo rubbishes Juventus rumours
In an interview with Esporte Interativo (via AS), Marcelo opened up on links with Juventus and put them to rest. He said,
"I'd also like to know where are these rumours coming from because it's not normal. It's funny because they [the press] make pictures with a Juve shirt.
"Juve is a splendid team since the times of [Pavel] Nedved, I once played against them and he was there, it was amazing, I changed shirts with him.
"But I'm from Real Madrid, I have a contract with Real Madrid and the things that are being published, I don't know what they are [coming from], you don't know, many people don't know either and honestly, I'm a sincere man, you know it.
"If there was anything to be told, I'd say it - but nothing."
Luka Jovic agrees terms with Barcelona
According to The Guardian and BeIN Sports, Eintracht Frankfurt striker Luka Jovic is ready to join Barcelona in the summer. The striker who is on loan from Benfica is currently the top scorer in the Bundesliga with 14 goals to his name.
Real Madrid and Chelsea were also reported to be in the race. However, it now turns out that Barcelona have agreed terms with the striker. They will now have to agree on a fee with his parent club Benfica and the 21-year-old will be free to move to the Camp Nou in the summer.
Mino Raiola offers Romelu Lukaku to Real Madrid
Romelu Lukaku hasn't had a solid sophomore season at Manchester United. He struggled under Jose Mourinho and hasn't turned it around under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer either. Now, according to reports in Spain, his agent Mino Raiola has offered Romelu Lukaku to Real Madrid.
Florentino Perez has been on the lookout for a striker as Karim Benzema is not getting any younger. However, Perez believes Lukaku hasn't shown enough consistency to make him their priority. He remains a target but not a priority, as per the report.
