Transfer rumour: Balotelli in contact with Mourinho
Mario Balotelli‘s agent believes the Italian striker could move to Stamford Bridge thanks to the good relationship between the player and Jose Mourinho.
Mourinho famously described Balotelli is “unmanageable” during their time together at Inter Milan but agent Mino Raiola maintains that the pair have a good relationship and are in regular contact.
The former Manchester City striker has been in good for for AC Milan scoring 15 goals in 18 appearances. The 23 year old moved from Manchester for a reported fee of £19m in the January transfer window in 2013.
His agent believes a transfer to Chelsea is possible “Jose Mourinho and Mario Balotelli at Chelsea? They have a good relationship and are in contact, the respect is mutual.” he said.
“If he can go to Chelsea? It may happen but Adriano Galliani obviously does not want this,” he added.
The future of the striker has been under a lot of speculation owing to the fact that the Italian media are too focused on what the controversial striker does off field which is making him a little unsettled claimed the player’s manager.
Chelsea currently have three strikers in their squad. Torres, Ba and Eto’o have only managed to score twice in the league. With the Chelsea strikers struggling to make an impact, reports earlier suggested that Jose was considering a €35m bid for the striker but nothing official has come out the Blue end of the bargain. With Torres showing signs of a revival Jose has his work cut out in the transfer window come January.
