The UEFA Champions League group B fixture between Bayern Munich and Paris Saint-Germain is arguably the biggest midweek match. While a tough battle was expected between the two sides, the German champions dominated their opponents in the first half scoring two goals.
Bayern's star striker Robert Lewandowski opened the scoring for his side in the eighth minute of the game after receiving a pass from Kingsley Coman. The Jupp Heynckes-managed side further strengthened their lead through Corentin Tolisso, who latched onto a cross from James Rodriguez. Even though PSG had four shots on target, they couldn't turn them into goals.
