Chelsea have proven again that they will do anything to finish the 2018-19 season among the top four teams in the Premier League. The Blues defeated Fulham at Craven Cottage with a narrow 1-2 scoreline to maintain their hopes for top four.

Chelsea made a few changes in the starting line-up as Kepa returned from injury. Andreas Christensen paired up with Rudiger, while Emerson replaced Marcos Alonso at left-back.

It was Cesar Azpilicueta who made a strong run along the right channel and provided a solid cross which found Gonzalo Higuain. A classy finish from the Argentinian striker helped Maurizio Sarri's men grab the lead in the 20th minute of the match.

Chelsea's Kepa then made a superb save following a well-taken shot from Mitrovic. Next moment, Chelsea conceded. Ryan Babel's lofted pass was received by unmarked Calum Chambers, and he made no mistake, equalising the scoreline in the 27th minute of the match.

The Blues didn't take much time to score another goal. Four minutes later, Jorginho found the net with a stunning curler. This time, Eden Hazard was the man who made the assist for the delicious goal.

Chelsea now has 56 points from 28 Premier League matches, while Fulham remains 19th with 17 points after 29 matches.

Fulham has to do something quickly to keep their hopes for next year's Premier League competition. On the other hand, Chelsea remains in contention for 4th spot. The points difference between The Blues and 4th placed Manchester United is two.

Maurizio Sarri's men passed brilliantly in the attacking third, while the interchanges between Eden Hazard and Willian made a great impact.

Emerson failed to deliver much on the left, while Azpilicueta continued his domination on the other side of the pitch.
