EPL 2016/17: Manchester United target Harry Kane insists he is happy at Tottenham
Harry Kane is definitely on Jose Mourinho’s bucket list, but the striker vehemently insists that he has no plans of moving to Manchester. He was, however, quite flattered by the interest shown by United’s transfer team.
Kane has been in blistering form after battling injury problems and there is a renewed interest in him from a number of clubs who have also spent a couple of transfer windows chasing him.
”I am happy,” he said, four times to be exact. “I think it shows that I am doing well. I'm happy at the club. A lot of people are going to speculate about contracts but I am happy.

The striker has scored 5 goals and grabbed an assist in 7 games so far and his performances have helped Tottenham to a respectable fifth position so far, just 5 points off the top.
“There are not many better feelings than being at White Hart Lane and scoring in a London derby,” the 23-year-old added.
The Englishman scored twice in the final minutes as a distraught West Ham left White Hart Lane with nothing to show for their efforts. His goal in the 89th minute came in the form of an easy tap-in and he went on to successfully dispatch a penalty in the 91st minute. The West Ham team looked down and out as Harry Kane’s sudden injection of spirit into the Tottenham side worked wonders.
“I am happy at the club and want to be here for a long, long time. We are in talks and I’m sure we will get something sorted. I’m not panicking. We’re having a conversation and I have no doubts that we will get it sorted," Kane stated.
"As I say, I want to be here for a long time and I am sure I will. I am happy here. Hopefully, we will have no issues with the contract. Get that down and get that wrapped up. I’m fully concentrated on playing for Tottenham and winning for Tottenham,” he went on to add.
The player doesn’t have too many reasons to leave the club, especially in January. Depending on how both Tottenham and United fare this season, it would be wiser to make a decision in the summer.
For now, he’ll have his eyes firmly fixed on scoring in another London derby and helping the club’s prospects. Tottenham will face a highly confident Chelsea away from home on the 26th of November.
