Eden Hazard is one of the best players in the world right now. He has done wonders at Chelsea over the years and the fans absolutely love him. He has been linked with a move to Real Madrid since a very long time, and time after time, he has fueled this speculation through his comments about leaving the club and starting fresh at Real Madrid.
After the recent loss to Bournemouth in the Premier League, which was very humiliating for Hazard and Chelsea, the fans have now become frustrated and are criticizing Hazard’s commitment to his club.
Hazard’s recent performances have lacked integrity, concentration and creativity. All this has made the fans wonder whether the Belgian has his heart set on a move to Real Madrid quite soon.
Eden Hazard is a fantastic individual and probably the most unpredictable player in the league with his pace and tricks. Chelsea has always looked hesitant about selling their star- man to any top European club. But it seems now that the club should be looking at future without the Belgian which will help the club grow to the next level.
Last year, Liverpool sold their star man Phillippe Coutinho to FC Barcelona in a record deal. Coutinho was to Liverpool what Hazard is now to Chelsea. Liverpool was very resistant in letting their main man leave the club, but when a player is unhappy and unwilling to play, the club should let him go. Liverpool was struggling at that time and Coutinho leaving made the fans feel like there was something even worse coming ahead.
But the Brazilian’s move away to Spain was a blessing in disguise for Liverpool. Klopp changed the system of Liverpool’s attack by playing a direct 3 in the midfield, which helped in banging in a lot of goals. A week after Coutinho left, Liverpool went on to end Manchester City’s unbeaten record at Anfield.
They signed Virgil Van Dijk, who has now become Liverpool's most important player, from the Coutinho money. Van Dijk’s influence has been more vital for Liverpool than Coutinho’s influence ever at the club. The only negativity that surrounded Liverpool a year ago was Coutinho’s future. He left the club and then it was only positivity around the club, which went on to reach the Champions League final after losing their main man in January.
Chelsea should learn from this. The club needs to know that it can improve to the next level without Hazard’s presence on the field. Hazard’s absence will help Sarri fit in a better suited on the wings to get the Sarri- ball to the next level.
Hazard is a good fit, no doubt, but still Chelsea has struggled to get those goals. They will receive a fortune from Real Madrid for Eden Hazardm and also from FC Bayern for Hudson Odoi. The club should invest the money on players like Koulibaly, Icardi, Griezmann etc.
These are the players who are best in their positions and who can appreciate the Sarri- ball more than Eden Hazard. All these players are leaders who can encourage the team to reach great heights again.
Chelsea should cope without Hazard just like Liverpool coped without Coutinho. The fans don’t even miss the Brazilian now and are quite happy seeing him struggle at Barcelona when the fans themselves smell the Premier League title this season.
