Atletico PR drew 1-1 with Corinthians on a rain-soaked pitch in the Brazilian League.

Both teams were looking to end winless streaks.

Atletico PR hosted Corinthians with both teams looking to end their respective winless streaks in the Brazilian League.

The home side were without a win in three matches, with Corinthians looking to end a two-match run since their last victory.

Referee Ricardo Marques Ribeiro gave the match the go-ahead despite heavy showers that had left the field in a miserable state.

Atletico took the lead in the fifth minute when striker Marcelo raced onto Paulo Baier’s pass before slotting past goalkeeper Cassio.

Former AC Milan striker Pato equalised for the visitors when he headed home from close range in the 26th minute.

The Corinthians forward had the chance to seal all three points for the visitors, but failed to beat goalkeeper Weverton with 15 minutes remaining.

That result moves Corinthians up into 11th place on 10 points, with Atletico in 18th on seven points.
