Video: Barcelona superstars deal with three young pitch invaders in their own special way

Barcelona stars who were training for the second leg Champions League clash against Arsenal had to deal with an unusual situation when three young fans evaded security and came on to the practice pitch to get a glimpse of their superstars.

In a heartwarming gesture, Lionel Messi and co were busy with a serious practice session but that did not stop the Barcelona team from letting these three young fans join in the training session.

The three young fans quickly made their way to Lionel Messi with shirts to be signed and he obliged before one of the young boys was held aloft by a group of players such as Dani Alves, Gerard Pique and Luis Suarez.

The three youngsters even took part in a small passing exercise with the players before receiving a round of applause.

Barcelona players definitely gave these three boys a once in a lifetime experience and such beautiful gestures is what makes this beautiful game a truly global sport.

Iniesta identifies Sanchez as danger man before Champions League clash

Barcelona’s Andres Iniesta says former team-mate Alexis Sanchez will be the main threat for Barcelona in their Champions League second leg clash against Arsenal.

Two goals from Lionel Messi ensured Barcelona a 2-0 aggregate lead and they are favourites to advance to the next round with the second leg set to be played at the Camp Nou.

Iniesta, however, offered a word of caution to his team-mates saying that the Chilean is capable of “causing problems.”

“Arsenal have a big squad but, because of his history with Barcelona, Alexis is the key man we have to look out for,” Iniesta told the Sunday Mirror.

“He’s a big footballer and showed his level when he played for Barca. But it’s not easy at this club to be first-choice striker. He has a lot of quality and can create problems.

“I’m convinced our fans will give him a great reception. But from minute one on the pitch, it will be different. That’s logical.”
