Video: David Beckham appears in new hilarious H&M advert with comedian Kevin Hart

David Beckham has represented H&M for a while now

Footballing star David Beckham has always been a popular figure even outside of the football pitch. His charisma and looks have driven him towards modeling and even a rumoured acting role as the next James Bond. This new advertisement for H&M is just another hilarious step in that direction.

Having spent much of his career at Manchester United as part of the “Class of 92” under Sir Alex Ferguson, the former England captain came under some close scrutiny from the Scot for his activities off the pitch. He had an active social life and seemed to be developing a flair for modeling and advertising, something that the United boss did not agree with as it took the focus away from football.

The two had a falling out behind the scenes that became a public affair and snowballed into the player’s exit to the cosmopolitan world of Real Madrid, where Beckham was perhaps in is element. Regardless of his immense contribution to football, he’s also been an icon in other fields like fashion.

H&M is a global clothing brand and David Beckham has been associated with them for a while now. This new advertisement was to highlight their new Modern Essentials series as the footballing icon partnered with an American comedian Kevin Hart in the video.

The comedian lives with David Beckham for the duration of a week while emulating the Manchester United star’s dressing, accent and posture among many other things. The reason for it in the video is that Hart is researching a role where he plays Beckham.

Hart plays a character that crosses all boundaries in researching his role. The American actor spends time with Beckham when he’s reading the paper, exercising, taking an ice-bath, modeling and watch out for the toothbrush incident.
