Video: Davis Cup finalists Czech Republic lose singles matches to Argentina

Having already lost their Davis Cup semi-final, Argentina won both singles matches against Czech Republic on Sunday to reduce the margin of defeat to 3-2.

Argentina had just pride to play for in their Davis Cup semi-final as The Czech Republic had an unassailable 3-0 lead .

But Lukas Rosol appeared determined to extend the Czech lead when he took the opening set of his match against Horacio Zeballos.

The second set was tight and went to a tie-break, Zeballos won 8-6.

And Zeballos got Argentina’s first win of the semi-final when he clinched the third and deciding set 6-4 to make it 3-1 overall.

In the second dead-rubber match Leonardo Mayer got an early break in his opening set against Jiri Vesely and went on to win it 6-4.

Mayer took the second set by the same scoreline.

The Czech Republic through to the final where they will face Novak Djokovic‘s Serbia who elimated Canada 3-2.
