The coolest way to warm-up? Diego Maradona dances to the tune of 'Live is Life'

A famous Austrian pop-rock song “Live Is Life” by a group which went by the name Opus was something more than just a summer hit. It was the song (or, well at lease the cover version of it) that Argentina legend Diego Maradona was warming up to before the UEFA Cup semi-final between Maradona’s Napoli and Bayern Munich back in the year 1989.
Then German International, Jurgen Klinsmann recalled this while stating his side of the incident. “There were 70,000 people in the stadium and Maradona went on the field. We’re on the other side of the field, warming up like Germans: seriously, focused.”
He went on to add, “There’s music playing, the song ‘Live is Life,’ and to the rhythm of the song Maradona started juggling the ball. So we stopped our warm-up. What’s this guy doing? He’s juggling off his shoulders. And we couldn’t warm up anymore because we had to watch this guy.”
Never fails to get the attention!
