ESPN's World Cup commercial 'Time Zone' is brilliant

Every four years, a time comes when all the time zones become null and void, and there is only one time zone that matter, the one when everyone is watching the World Cup.

When the World Cup starts, every fan around the globe, be it in a crowded pub in Manchester, or a social one in Ghana, or a research centre in the Andes, has to adjust their schedule to Brazil's, which means they have to make a little extra effort to watch their team's matches.

ESPN, in their minute-long commercial, have been able to perfectly cast a light on that, showcasing how the World Cup unites people all around the globe.

The ad that carries the slogan of “Every 4 Years, The World Has One Time Zone” has been developed in collaboration with creative agency Wieden + Kennedy New York.
