After the international break, club action was back this weekend. Defending English champions Manchester City and Arsenal both displayed brilliant attacking power by scoring 4-goals each as Manchester United scraped to a 0-1 win over Sunderland. Liverpool pulled off a superb comeback after being a goal down to Aston Villa. In the German Bundesliga, Bayern Munich thrashed Hamburg 9-2.
