Video: Marco Reus scores brilliant solo goal against Juventus

Marco Reus nutmegged Bonucci before finishing off a brilliant move

Marco Reus is back with a bang after scoring a wonder goal against none other than last season’s Uefa Champions League runners-up Juventus in a pre-season friendly. The Borussia Dortmund star ran over two-third of the length of the pitch before nutmegging Leonardo Bonucci and smashing the ball into the net.

The manner of the goal suggests that the Dortmund star is back to his clinical best after being hampered by injuries which had forced him to miss the 2014 World Cup. Reus is one of the most sought-after players in world football right now and you can see why.

The brilliant solo goal will catch the attention of potential suitors while Dortmund would be all the more determined to keep their star man at the Signal Iduna Park. The likes of Arsenal and Liverpool are the latest to be linked with the German international.

Reus’ goal is one of the best goals we have seen so far in the pre-season and it was Dortmund’s second after Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang had put them ahead from a counter-attacking move. Juventus had no answer to the brilliant counter-attacking play from Dortmund as they slumped to a 2-0 defeat.
