Video: Napoli coach Benitez looks ahead to AC Milan

Napoli coach Rafael Benitez played down any animosity between himself and AC Milan, despite briefly managing rivals Inter Milan, as he held a news conference in Naples, Italy on Saturday (September 21st).

Rafa Benitez, Napoli coach, said:  “It’s safe to say they (AC Milan) are a team with an offensive attitude. It will be hard to defend for us. We’re talking about high-quality players who can make the difference, and what we can do is attack as we know, and try to be solid defending. True they are strong in the attacking phase but when you are so offensive sometimes you can expose yourself behind.”

“It is a special match because they are a really strong team, the players, the management. It’s also special for me for having played two Champions League finals against them, not much for having trained Inter Milan because I only played a derby against them, so not much. It will be really interesting for us to play against such an important team.”

“As I said at the beginning of the season, we still have to do a lot of work, and what’s important for me is that if we win we still have to stay with our feet on the ground.”
