Video: Neymar accidentally hits a kid with a volley in to the crowd and later gives him an autographed ball

Footballers often throw objects into the crowd. Usually it’s something like shirts or headbands. Fans love this and often reach out to try and catch whatever the players do throw to them. This Brazil fan, however, might have hoped he could’ve got out of the way when Neymar kicked a ball into the crowd.

While boarding the bus to their first Copa America game against Peru, which they won 2-1 thanks to the Barcelona star’s superb contribution on the night, Neymar kicked a ball into the crowd. Unknown to him as he climbed into the bus, it hit a kid in the crowd who was then reduced to tears.

Brazil coach Dunga took notice of this little boy and picked him out of the crowd and took him into the team bus. They boy emerged in a short while with an autographed ball from Neymar.

The only question is, is it worth taking a hit from a footballer’s volleyed shot to get an autographed ball?
