Real Madrid’s Portuguese forward Cristiano Ronaldo jubilates after scoring during the UEFA Champions League, round of 16 against Schalke

The tie was a foregone conclusion after Real Madrid blitzed Schalke  6-1 in the first leg of the UEFA Champions League round of 16 clash.

Cristiano Ronaldo was at it yet again with a brace on the night. The Portuguese could have bagged an easy hat trick but for the woodwork, which he unluckily hit twice. Alvaro Morata got a rare start and made the most of it with a well taken goal. The Spanish giants humbled their opponents over the two legs with a 9-1 aggregate win.
