A succession of mistakes in the Stoke defence allowed Gabriel Agbonlahor to score a goal from close range low into the middle of the goal.

Michael Kightly found the back of the net with a goal from deep inside the box to the bottom left corner. But two late goals from Matthew Lowton in 86th minute and Christian Benteke in injury time secured the victory for Villa.
