Video: Ukraine prepare to face England in crucial qualifier

Ukraine are looking to take control of World Cup qualifying Group H when they take on current leaders England in Kiev on Tuesday ,10th September.

Group H of the European qualifiers for the 2014 World Cup is still wide open and Ukraine will be looking to take control as they face England in Kiev.

A win for the hosts would see them go top of the group as only a point separates the two sides going into the encounter.

England are currently top, level on 15 points with Montenegro who have played a game more, Ukraine are third on 14 points.

The two sides drew 1-1 at Wembley a year ago but coach Mykailo Fomenko insists his side will not worry about the past:

Mykhailo Fomenko, Ukraine coach, said: “The previous games between Ukrainian and English national teams are part of history now. We’re focused on making tomorrow’s game a successful one for the Ukraine.”

The home side go into the match unbeaten in their last six matches and will be looking to make life difficult for an injury plagued English side.

Roy Hodgson said the only change he will make from the starting XI that beat Moldova on Friday will be Danny Wellbeck as the striker is suspended.

With only three games remaining in Group H, an England win would be a vital step towards automatic qualification.
