Video: Zlatan Ibrahimovic scores incredible goal for Sweden from Moldova goalkeeper's goal kick
Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s brace helped Sweden beat Moldova 2-0 on Friday night at in the Moldovan capital of Chisinau. The win kept Sweden in the hunt to advance to the Euro finals and they sit second with nine points with Austria topping the group.
Ibrahimovic scored just as the second half started. A back pass to the Moldovan goalkeeper Ilie Cebanu saw him trying to clear the ball but failed to clear the Swedish captain who stood at the edge of the box. The PSG striker reacted instantly and headed the ball towards goal where it went into an empty net to give him his 52nd goal in 102 international matches.
Ibrahimovic then doubled the lead in the 84th minute when he took a penalty and sent Cebanu the wrong way and blasted the ball into the top left corner to give Sweden the 2-0 win.
