After promising performances by the team in the first three games, Villa supporters were feeling cautiously optimistic about the season ahead. Perhaps it was bad timing for an international break. Almost three weeks later and the performance as well as the score of Villa vs Newcastle United, has got Villa supporters thinking about the woeful home form of the past two seasons. The game was pretty much won by Newcastle in the midfield which they bossed the entire game. The Toon army also were big for a change at Villa Park. Bad day at the office for AVFC.
