#5 November 10, 2012 - FC Augsburg vs Borussia Dortmund
Marco Reus and Borussia Dortmund came into this match on the back of two successive draws. They were held at home by Stuttgart in their previous league game and BVB followed that up by a 2-2 against Real Madrid. They were desperate to get back to winning ways and Marco Reus put the visitors ahead in the 8th minute at the WWK Arena.
Dortmund were awarded a free kick on the left side of the Augsburg penalty area and Marco Reus lined it up. The team in yellow had five players waiting near the six-yard box to get on the end of Reus's delivery but the German international had other ideas. He beautifully curled in the free kick and it struck the far post on its way into the net.
The degree of precision in Reus's effort gave Augsburg goalkeeper Simon Jentzsch no chance of saving it. BVB won the game 3-1 and Reus’s sumptuous free kick was undoubtedly the highlight of the contest.
