We got more than a point against Chelsea: Brad Friedel
Tottenham Hotspur goalkeeper Brad Friedel has said that the draw against Chelsea gave the team more than a point as title rivals Manchester City and Manchester United suffered defeats on Saturday.
“We obviously drew, which wasn’t a terrible result for us, but then to see United and City lose at the same time, that makes you feel like you had more than one point,” said Friedel.
Friedel also praised his former team Aston Villa for their performance against Manchester city.
“Being an ex-Aston Villa player, knowing how good the club is, it’s great seeing them get three points,” Friedel added.
Tottenham is currently enjoying a good start to the season and find themselves in second position in the standings just behind London rivals Arsenal.
