John Henry has let rip at Arsenal after the Gunners made a £1 bid over £40million for Liverpool’s Luis Suarez

Liverpool owner John Henry has taken a dig at Arsenal after the North London club made a comical bid of just £1 over £40million for the Uruguayan striker, triggering an unusual clause which states that the 26-year-old footballer will be informed of any offers in excess of £40million.

The tweet by the American businessman clearly indicates that Liverpool has no intentions in trading off the Uruguayan marksman.

However, Liverpool do have an uphill task of convincing the footballer, who has been cut and dry on leaving the club, to remain at Anfield.
