Zinedine Zidane picks both Ronaldo and Messi for Dream XI of players he wants to manage
Since hanging up his boots in 2006, former France international Zinedine Zidane has always been welcoming the opportunity to manage a big club. Currently in charge of Real Madrid’s second team, Castilla who are currently sixth in the Segunda B division in Spain.
During a show for Canal+, Zidane was asked to pick a team with players that he would want to manage, and not surprisingly, the midfield maestro named seven players in the starting line-up.
Barcelona’s Lionel Messi and Daniel Alves are two of the starters named by Zidane who don’t or have never played for Real Madrid alongside Manchester City’s Yaya Toure and Paris Saint-Germain’s Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
Among the seven selected substitutes, highly rated French youngsters Rafael Varane of Real Madrid and Paul Pogba of Juventus made a cut to the star-studded bench.

Starting Line-up: Iker Casillas - Marcelo, Sergio Ramos, Pepe, Daniel Alves - Yaya Toure, Luka Modric - Cristiano Ronaldo, Lionel Messi, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Karim Benzema.
Substitutes: Manuel Neuer, Philipp Lahm, Rafael Varane, Paul Pogba, Andres Iniesta, Franck Ribery, Sergio Aguero.
