Zlatan Ibrahimovic posts video of him juggling the ball on a beach but where have all his tattoos gone?

Zlatan’s famous ‘scissor kick’

Manchester United’s latest acquisition Zlatan Ibrahimovic has been ‘making football look easy’ at the Venice beach in Italy. In a video posted recently on his Instagram page, Zlatan showcased his footballing skills as he jumped in the air and executed a ‘scissor kick’ after juggling the ball.

Though the video was a treat to watch for the Premier League followers, there were certain questions regarding the 34-year-old’s missing tattoos. Ibrahimovic had inked his body and arms for a certain cause that he was supporting.

In 2015, Zlatan’s former club Paris Saint-Germain was put up against Caen in Ligue 1 of French football. During the game, Zlatan had gotten the lead for his side, scoring his trademark kung-fu kick and received a yellow card as soon as he took off his shirt for celebrating the goal.

But the celebration, of course, was later explained by Zlatan himself as he had tattooed the names of the 15 people who were suffering from hunger. This was Zlatan’s special way of supporting the World Food Programme.

He said, “When I took my shirt off against Caen, everybody asked what these new tattoos were. I had 15 removable tattoos on my body, they are the names of real people who are suffering from hunger in the world. [While] those tattoos have gone now, these people are still here ... I hope that you can see them through me.”

“Wherever I go people recognise me, call my name, cheer me. But there are names no one cheers for. If I could, I would write every single name on my body. But there are 805 million people suffering from hunger in the world today ... So whenever you hear my name, you will think of their names. Whenever you see me, you will see them.”

Zlatan had decided to end his stay at PSG since joining them back in 2012 and had taken quite some time to reveal that his next destination would be Manchester United. The Swedish striker scored 113 goals for PSG in 122 appearances and won the Ligue 1 Cup all 4 times. Zlatan was also awarded the ‘Ligue 1 Player of the Year’ in 2012/13, 2013/14, and 2015/16.

Manchester United fans will have high expectations from the legendary striker, to bring back the glory to the ‘The Theatre of Dreams’ and time will tell if the Swede can live up to their expectations.
