All Fortnite x Squid Game leaks so far
At the start of the month, Epic Games confirmed the Fortnite x Squid Game collaboration, but details surrounding it were limited. We knew that characters and assets from the show would be coming to the game and accessible via UEFN, but now, we have a first-hand look at the potential Fortnite x Squid Game map.
This information was shared on the social media platform X by @BeastFNCreative. The individual had recently also shared insights into an upcoming mini-event for Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 3 Super, which was corroborated by other leakers. Here's everything we know.
Fortnite x Squid Game collaboration to potentially introduce new map for Reload mode
Thanks to leaks, we have our first look at a potential upcoming Squid Game map for Fortnite Reload mode. This was not on the cards previously, but the community is beyond thrilled. Since it was assumed that the collaboration would be limited to characters and UEFN assets, this was a delightful surprise.
In the leak, there are four images, each showcasing a different part of the map. We can see a colorful building area, a Cuddle Leader variant of Young-hee (the giant doll), and even bunk beds.
If anything, Reload will gain popularity if this map is introduced, which could be very soon.
When will the Fortnite x Squid Game collaboration go live?
We know for a fact that the collaboration will go live on June 27, 2025. However, this is about UEFN and characters from the show. Nothing has been said in an official capacity about the Reload mode. Nevertheless, we can assume that with the update v36.10 going live on June 18, 2025, we may get the new map in-game later this week or next week.
Lastly, with this being a major collaboration, we could see unique items/weapons added to the loot pool, but there's no telling at this point. There's far too much going on already with LEGO Expeditions and Blitz Royale being announced. Thus, even if things are delayed, it wouldn't be a major issue as there's a lot to do.
