“Bro was getting bullied”: Fortnite community reacts to player’s Victory Royale using Pirates of the Caribbean items
Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 3 has been packed to the brim with content, especially with the launch of the new Pirates of the Caribbean collaboration. This highly anticipated crossover has introduced new and returning items that not only make for hearty throwbacks and easter eggs to the Disney franchise but also spice up the game for players.
This is highlighted in a recent Reddit clip shared by u/INFINITY--Oficial, where the player can be seen in a solo Battle Royale match in Chapter 5 Season 3 donning the Infinity Outfit and navigating a 1v1 scenario. In a moment of inventiveness, the player jumped down using the Flint-Knock Pistol and used the Ship In A Bottle Mythic, allowing them to disorient the enemy.
After confusing the enemy, the player thrust themself up using the Flint-Knock Pistol and eliminated the enemy, earning their Victory Royale. The clip attracted a lot of attention from the Fortnite community, prompting Reddit user u/BoiMan778 to state:
“Bro was getting bullied”
Other members of the community had their own opinions regarding the player's brilliant strategy. Reddit user u/98Greener highlighted how the player couldn't eliminate their opponent despite having three Ship In A Bottle Mythics, and how the Flint-Knock Pistol managed to be their best bet. Reddit user u/yaxyakalagalis further drew attention to the player's use of the Flint-Knock Pistol, complimenting the maneuver that earned them the Victory Royale.
Reddit user u/Beezewhacks echoed this sentiment, highlighting the player's ability to use the Flint-Knock Pistol to their advantage to secure the Victory Royale. Meanwhile, Reddit user u/TheChickenMan63, while complimenting the player's strategy, brought up the Jar of Dirt Emote from the Cursed Sails Pass and how the player got it so quickly.
How to get the Ship In A Bottle Mythic in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 3
The Ship In A Bottle Mythic is the latest in the long line of in-game Mythics and was recently added to the game in celebration of the Pirates of the Caribbean collaboration. Players can find this unique item in floor loot and chests. However, they can also make their way to the Jack Sparrow NPC near the Grand Glacier POI to purchase the Ship In A Bottle Mythic in exchange for Gold Bars.
Additionally, you can use the Buried Treasure item to seek out Treasure Chests that will always spawn in a Ship In A Bottle Mythic.
