“Can’t even 619”: Community hilariously reacts to Fortnite Mysterio skin
One of the most exciting aspects of Chapter 5 Season 4 has been the Fortnite Mysterio skin. This brand new outfit has finally brought one of Spider-Man's most notorious adversaries to the Battle Royale Island, with the illusionist seemingly aiding Doctor Doom in his takeover of the Island. As players have been enjoying Mysterio's presence in Chapter 5 Season 4, he has also become a source of humor for many in the community.
This is highlighted in a recent Reddit post shared by u/Pleasant_Trade_3325, where the player referred to the Fortnite Mysterio skin and hilariously drew comparisons to Rey Mysterio, the iconic lucha libre wrestler from WWE. The player joked about how Epic Games messed up recreating Rey Mysterio's likeness when designing the skin.
The Reddit post attracted a lot of attention and hilarious reactions from the community, with Reddit user u/Khimsince86 jokingly referencing the wrestler's signature move from the WWE and stating:
“Can’t even 619 what a joke of a skin...”
Other members of the community had their own takes on the player jesting about the Fortnite Mysterio skin, with u/arnecrafter pointing out how they initially thought the player was unironically criticizing the design of the skin. u/ppbomber_0 jokingly brought up an unmasked variant of the Mysterio skin, referencing Rey Mysterio not taking his mask off in WWE.
u/Deputy_Beagle76 highlighted how while they have the John Cena skin, they would love to see Rey Mysterio come to the Fortnite Island. u/Exodus_Prophecy echoed these sentiments, exclaiming how the game needs more WWE content and even suggesting emotes based on iconic wrestler entrances.
How to get the Fortnite Mysterio skin in Chapter 5 Season 4
The Fortnite Mysterio skin is one of the many new Marvel characters to come to the game with the release of Absolute Doom. The character is featured in the Chapter 5 Season 4 Battle Pass. In order to unlock the Mysterio skin, players have to claim him on Page 11 of the Absolute Doom Battle Pass.
Here, players will be able to get other Myterio-themed cosmetics as well, and the character will also release potential super styles in the later weeks of Chapter 5 Season 4.
