The latest Fortnite theory suggests that Doctor Doom could be looking for the Fortnite Zero Point, which is the source of all realities in the Omniverse as well as Reality Zero. The Zero Point is an integral part of Fortnite's lore and development, with most of the plot across the Chapters being directly or indirectly related to this being.

Doctor Doom could be on the hunt for the Fortnite Zero Point according to the latest theory
According to the latest theory by Fortnite leaker and data miner @Rezztro, Doctor Doom is on the hunt for the Fortnite Zero Point.
The theory suggests that one of the boards at Doomstadt, a new location in Chapter 5 Season 4, contains an outline of the lake found in the middle of the island. This outline perfectly matches the lake. Notably, it has several crosses marked out with the zero point supposedly in the center of it.
This theory could make a lot of sense since Doctor Doom has a history of claiming the powers of the Zero Point. In Fortnite x Marvel Zero War, Doctor Doom stole the Zero Shard and returned to Reality Zero after defeating Stegron and the High Evolutionary.
The Zero Point is an omnipotent being in Battle Royale, the first to be born after The Nothing. It is essentially the heart of Reality Zero and the origin of all reality in the omniverse, but it has not been seen in a very long time.
Where is the Zero Point in Fortnite?
The Fortnite Zero Point was last seen in the Big Bang at the end of Chapter 4 Season OG, paving the way for Chapter 5. It was struck by the rockets, and the presence of the time machine resulted in the creation of new realities with elements from different realities merging.
This theory could solve the mystery of the missing entity, emerging as a supremely powerful being that can open reality portals, create Rifts, spawn realities, and much more.
Doctor Doom's interest in Fortnite Zero Point could make sense as his control over Zero Point would give him limitless power and control over the island, which is his end goal.
