"Don't bring a fist into a gun fight": Fortnite community reacts to player's clutch Victory Royale in Chapter 5 Season 3
Fortnite has managed to foster a competitive landscape that makes for the perfect playground for players to experiment with strategies. These displays of skill can come at any point in a match, even having a bit of luck mixed in to truly make for memorable moments.
This is highlighted in a recent Reddit clip shared by u/Ok_Manufacturer_1738. In the video, the player was in a solo Zero Build match in Chapter 5 Season 3, donning the Jonesy The First Outfit and navigating a top-two situation. As they spotted their enemy, they were able to deal significant damage.
However, the enemy managed to launch the player back with Nitro Fists. This led the player to use their Hand Cannon to eliminate their opponent with a stunning shot.
The Reddit clip ignited a flurry of reactions from the community, with u/Simmer555 jokingly stating:
"Don't bring a fist into a gun fight"
Other members of the community had their own reactions to the clutch Victory Royale, with Redditor u/No_Pipe_8257 highlighting how the player not only showcased incredible aim but also a lot of luck since the fall damage did not eliminate them.
u/Knaifu69 recounted a similar situation during one of their matches involving the Hand Cannon and skilful shots.
Redditor u/YeetaRaptor further drew attention to the fall damage that the player took, expressing how, if they were in that position, they would have been caught off guard by the sudden fall.
Meanwhile, u/Tamel_Eidek joked about the player using The Renegade Emote at the end of the match, suggesting how they should get more cosmetics for their in-game library.

Nitro Fists are one of the most exciting aspects of Chapter 5 Season 3, allowing players to not only deal significant melee damage to their enemies but also navigate the map swiftly. Luckily for players, they are by no means rare and can be found in chests and floor loot.
