Fortnite Chapter 2 Remix (v32.00 update) early patch notes: New Map, Reload Solo, and Battle Pass skins

Fortnite Chapter 2 Remix is finally here, and the community is excited. It is a spinoff of Chapter 2, which is considered one of the most successful FN chapters of all time. The update will introduce a remodeled map that reimagines iconic Chapter 2 locations with a twist. Adding to the excitement, FN is also getting the Reload Solo mode.

So far, Fortnite has shared three teaser videos and multiple banners on social media, hyping up the community. With that in mind, here are the FN Chapter 2 Remix early patch notes.

Fortnite Chapter 2 Remix (v32.00 update) early patch notes: Everything we know so far

Chapter 2 Remix will commence on November 2, 2024, at 8 PM Eastern Time. Before the season starts, there will be a prelude event on November 1, 2024, at 6 PM Eastern Time, which will mark the end of Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 4. Chapter 5 saw a mixed reception from the community, with the player count reaching its lowest in years. Hopefully, this update will change that.

The new season will be short, only lasting 30 days, similar to Fortnite Chapter OG, which was a throwback to Chapter 1. Here's everything we know about the upcoming season:

New map

This season will feature a reimagined version of the Fortnite Chapter 2 map, with the same iconic locations but new Easter eggs and landmarks. The official teasers have confirmed the return of The Agency location.

Similar to Fortnite Chapter OG, Chapter 2 Remix will most likely get major weekly updates, showing the evolution of the Chapter 2 map.

Battle Pass skins

The official Fortnite Chapter 2 Remix teasers have confirmed the following Battle Pass skins:

Female Guff
Meowscle + Midas Remix
Female Chaos Agent
8-Ball Remix
TNTina Remix

It is to be noted that, usually, Fortnite Battle Passes have at least seven main skins with one optional bonus Outfit that usually arrives mid-season. More cosmetics will be revealed for the new Season as time goes on. The aforementioned skins, as well as the ones yet to confirmed, will be spinoff versions of old Battle Pass Outfits.

Reload Solo mode

Fortnite Reload is one of the most popular game modes Epic Games has ever released. It arrived on July 26, 2024, and featured the duo, trio, and squad modes. The community was eagerly waiting for a solo mode, which is finally arriving with the release of Fortnite Chapter 2 Remix.

Weapon pool

The Chapter 2 Remix teaser titled Tape B gave us a glimpse of the upcoming season's weapon pool. These are the confirmed firearms so far:

Bolt-Action Sniper Rifle
Burst Assault Rifle
Legendary Tactical Shotgun
Legendary Assault Rifle (SCAR)

This list suggests that the weapons featured in this new season will be very similar to those in the original Chapter 2. However, we can expect Medallions and new Mythics to be added to the game as well.
