The Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 1 Godzilla trailer has finally dropped, and the community seems to be very excited. Officially uploaded by the Fortnite YouTube channel, the trailer teases a monstrous collaboration between Fortnite and the legendary Monsterverse, bringing Godzilla and Kong to the Battle Royale Island alongside various other things.

Transform into Godzilla during matches
One of the most thrilling additions that we can see in the trailer is that players get the chance to become a giant Godzilla on the map. A random portal will spawn in the battle royale map, and the first person to jump through it will get the chance to transform into the massive titan. As Godzilla, players will be able to shoot a high-damage Heat Ray and destroy structures with ease.
At around the 0:13 mark, we also get a glimpse of the giant Kong. The description of the video confirms that players will also get a chance to play as a massive Kong.

New cosmetics
Both the Mechagodzilla and Kong outfits were confirmed at the 0:18 mark, where they were visible doing a new Traversal Emote that seems to be inspired by the Godzilla movie franchise. The Mechagodzilla & Kong Bundle consists of:

Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 1 Battle Pass owners will also get a chance to unlock the Godzilla Evolved Outfit. Moreover, we also got a glimpse of the Nissan Skyline GT-R in Godzilla-themed wheels and multiple car decals. Multiple decals and wheels are arriving to the Fortnite Item Shop.
Weapons
This update brings back some exciting weapons to the battlefield. A black and red Rail Gun was featured at the 0:28 mark, while the Burst Quad Launcher and a Godzilla Medallion are confirmed too. We can also see new Supply Drops that feature the logo of Monarch Sciences, a fictional scientific organization that studies and monitors giant monsters in the Monsterverse movie franchise.
