Fortnite Esports World Cup 2024: All groups, tournament structure and more
The Fortnite Esports World Cup 2024 is starting from August 8, 2024, in Riyadh and featuring a prize pool of $1 million. What makes this tournament stand apart are the unique gun game maps designed by ESL rather than the classic battle royale we are acquainted with. 16 squads from around the world qualified for this event after showing exceptional performance at Dreamhack Dallas 2024 and Closed Qualifiers.
The qualified teams are distributed into groups of four, after which the elimination round begins. Here's everything you need to know about the Fortnite Esports World Cup 2024.

1) Group A
The first group of the tournament consists of the following teams:
- Team Falcons - Tayson, Japko, t3eny, Chico
- Dragons Esports - Randu, Itrol, Lewa, Romero
- ZETA Division - Minipayo, Koyota, Yuma, Zagou
- XSET - Muz, Edgey, Ritual, Cold
2) Group B
The second group of the tournament consists of the following teams:
- PWR - alex, looter, worthy, volx
- Team Exceed - Peterbot, Kwanti, Meelks, Okis
- Gaiman Gladiators - Howly, NeFrizi, S1ned, Vanyak3kk
- Al Ula - Adapter, FHD, Mansour, Hero
3) Group C
The third group of the tournament consists of the following teams:
- Fnatic - Ajerss, CizLucky, nounzy, Xccept
- Karmine Corp - Malibuca, Merstach, SwizzY, Anas
- R8 Esports - Voxe, Bloomy, Vortexers, Xsweeze
- KS7 - Kalgamer, k0tyarich, Kyry, Salvatore
4) Group D
The third group is probably the strongest, consisting of the following teams:
- HEROIC - Th0masHD, Hellfire, Fredoxie, Kiro
- BIG - kiduoo, Trexer, Fray, Cheatlin
- w7m Esports - Frosty, Phzin, Seeyun, Kurtz
- Dignitas - Acorn, Tkay, Pilky, Khanada
Fortnite Esports World Cup 2024 structure
In the group rounds, all teams will play with each other once, in a best-of-five encounter. The top two teams from each group will advance to the Playoffs, which will have single elimination brackets in a best-of-seven format, played on ESL-designed maps.

The MVP of the tournament will be determined at the end of the event based on the various performance factors.

The Fortnite Esports World Cup will conclude on August 11, 2024. It features a prize pool of $1,050,000, which includes $50,000 for the MVP at the end of the event.
