ESL Hardpoint
Hardpoint is the most popular ESL-designed game mode that will be played in the Fortnite Esports World Cup 2024. There is a Control Point that keeps changing its location every minute. Whichever team stays in that circle for the longer time wins. The winner is determined on a best-of-3-round basis.

ESL Capture The Flag
Capture The Flag is inspired by popular FPS maps like the Fringe & Longbow. Teams are supposed to capture the flag from the opponent's circle and bring it back to their spawn, similar to the Joy vs Sadness map. The team with the most number of flags captured by the end of the match wins. Two rounds of five minutes are played to determine which team captured the most number of flags.

ESL Shrinking Zone
Shrinking Zone is a unique and fast-paced 4v4 game mode. The match starts with a small yet versatile map that shrinks every few seconds. The team that eliminates each of the opponent team members gets a point. The first team to reach eight points wins. Every round is two minutes long.

How to play these maps
Anyone can play these maps in both public and private lobbies with up to eight players (4v4). They're all great maps for aim practice and are a must-play for those looking to participate in the Fortnite Esports World Cup or any ESL-sponsored tournaments from next year.
There are six types of specialists on all the maps: Assault, Juggernaut, Infiltrator, Medic, Engineer, and Marksman. Each specialist has a different primary weapon, secondary weapon, and throwable item. All players on a team must pick different specialists. Only Chapter 5 weapons are featured in all the maps, but the throwables are from previous chapters. Building is not allowed in any of the maps.
