Fortnite FNCS 2024: Global Championship - List of potentially disqualified pros due to denied visas

The Fortnite FNCS 2024: Global Championship is the last S-tier event this year. The top 50 duos from around the world qualified for this tournament through their FNCS Major online tournaments. All the Fortnite pros have given their best efforts to make it to the Global Championship, which is a LAN tournament hosted at the Dickies Arena in Texas. Unfortunately, some players won't be able to make it to the event due to their visas being denied.

Here are the players who are unlikely to attend the Fortnite FNCS 2024: Global Championship due to visa issues.

Note: While many of the players listed below have officially confirmed their status, some are based on unverified reports. This list is subject to change.

This issue has sparked a major controversy in Fortnite's competitive scene. Many of the most popular esports analysts and pros think Epic Games should consider hosting the tournament in countries where visa issues can be resolved easily. Let's look at which players are unlikely to attend the event.

1) Arrow

On August 21, 2024, Middle Eastern player Arrow shared a post via his X account that reads (translated from Arabic):

"The visa was not accepted. Thank god for everything."

Later, on the same day, popular Middle Eastern esports analyst @3mW4si reshared the post and expressed his frustration. Arrow qualified for the $2 million Global Championship after finishing second in the Fortnite FNCS 2024: Major 3 ME Region alongside Wqzzi.

If his visa was not rejected, this would have been his first-ever Global Championship appearance. His last-minute replacement in the tournament will likely be Canadian player Rise.

2) Milo

UAE-based player Pixo took to X to confirm that his teammate from Pakistan, Milo, won't be playing in Dallas. The rumors about the latter's alleged visa issues surfaced a few days before Pixo confirmed it. This would have been Milo's first appearance at a LAN event.

Pixo will be playing with popular NA player Ajerss who has previously teamed with the likes of Khanada and Fortnite World Cup winner, Bugha.

3) Vanyak3kk

Vanyak3k is one of the highest-earning Fortnite pros in 2024. As per a recent report by @FNcompReport, a reputable Fortnite esports page, he is unlikely to attend the Global Championship as his visa is not yet approved. According to the Fortnite Comp Report, Vanyak3k has an interview scheduled with the US embassy that will decide whether he will feature in the tournament or not.

Vanyak3k is one of the most respected players in the Fortnite community and is one of the few players to qualify for both the Fortnite FNCS 2024: Global Championship and Fortnite Esports World Cup in the same year. It is to be noted that these are just rumors and the player himself has not given an official statement as of now.

Fortnite Comp Report recently shared a list of players who are unlikely to attend the Fortnite FNCS 2024: Global Championship due to visa approval issues. The list includes P1ng, a 19-year-old Ukrainian Fortnite pro who would have made his first-ever LAN appearance with this year's Global Championship. He is yet to officially comment on these rumors.

5) Night

Brazilian player Night is also rumored to miss the Fortnite FNCS 2024: Global Championship due to visa issues. The news was initially shared by @FNCompReport, but nothing was confirmed. However, a few hours later, Night posted a sad emoji without any context, which could probably mean that his visa had been denied.

If so, his teammate, 916Gon, would have to pick a new player from the NA region as soon as possible.
