Fortnite leaks suggest Chapter 2 OG will feature three seasons and much more

According to the latest Fortnite leaks, it would seem that Chapter 2 OG will cycle through three different seasons: One, two, and three. The information was brought to light leakers/data-miners Loolo_WRLD and Egyptian_Leaker. They have a track record of providing insights over the past few seasons with extremely high accuracy.

Coming to these Fortnite leaks, it is rather odd that Epic Games apparently picked only the first three seasons from the original Chapter 2. However, this was already foretold via the leaked Fortnite 2024 roadmap discovered earlier this year. That's not all you can expect to see when the time comes.

Fortnite leaks all but confirm a repeat of "The Device" live event

Interestingly, there's some information regarding a live event occurring toward the end of Chapter 2 OG. It will be somewhat similar to "The Device" live event which occurred in the original Chapter 2 Season 2. Since Chapter 2 OG will feature this season, everything seems to line up perfectly.

Keep in mind this information is based on leaks, but given the trajectory showcased thus far, it seems like the most obvious path. Epic Games will likely switch things up as it did for "The Big Bang" live event at the end of Chapter 4 OG. It was slightly different from the original "The End" live event from Chapter 1 Season X.

Keeping the live event aside, here is what we know about Fortnite Chapter 2 OG:

It is codenamed “Clyde.”
It has been in the works since January.
Each season will have its own playlist.
It will have solos, duos, trios, and squads modes.

Seasons 2 and 3 will both have two parts.
A new vehicle mod - Lowrider Hydraulics.
Vehicle cosmetics.
Several fish unvaulted, such as the Spicy Flopper.
Will have NPCs and bosses.

When does Fortnite Chapter 2 OG begin?

As per Epic Games' official date mentioned on the Chapter 5 Season 4 Absolute Doom Battle Pass, Chapter 2 OG will begin on November 2, 2024. That said, the name of the season is unknown, but the community is currently calling it Fortnite Chapter 2 OG.

This is keeping in line with the naming scheme used last year for Chapter 4 Season 5, aka Chapter 1 OG or Chapter 4 Season OG. It all depends on the developers. Hence, with the current season just getting started, it will be a while before more information about the next one is leaked. For now, embrace Doom's presence on the island.
