Fortnite Pirates of the Caribbean collaboration: Start date, Cursed Sails Pass, and skins
The Fortnite Pirates of the Caribbean collaboration is one of the biggest events to arrive in the high-octane Chapter 5 Season 3. This much-awaited partnership with the critically acclaimed pirate franchise brings forth a host of new items, skins, and features players are looking for. Epic Games had teased the arrival of the pirates on the island for a long time and players can finally get to experience it.
The following is all you need to know about Fortnite's collaboration with Pirates of the Caribbean.
When does the Fortnite Pirates of the Caribbean collaboration start?
The Fortnite Pirates of the Caribbean collaboration will be available globally from July 19, 2024. Fortnite announced the arrival of the event titled "Cursed Sails" on its official X handle:
On July 19, 2024, players can look out for an update that will introduce the Cursed Sails events and the Cursed Sails pass which will be the official pass for this LTM or limited-time event. Players can purchase the Cursed Sails Pass to unlock rewards from the mode.
How to get the Fortnite Pirates of the Caribbean Cursed Sails Pass
Players can purchase the Fortnite Pirates of the Caribbean Cursed Sails Pass from the Cursed Sails event page on the homepage and is not a part of the Chapter 5 Season 3 Battle Pass. Although no prices have been officially announced, it is expected to follow the trend of previous passes and cost 1,000 V-Bucks.
The Cursed Sails Pass is the only way for players to get their hands on the Jack Sparrow Outfit alongside a host of other rewards included in the free and premium reward track.
What skins will be included in the event?
This exciting Limited Time Event will include outfits of popular characters from the franchise including Jack Sparrow, Davy Jones, Elizabeth Swann, and more cosmetic items and emotes.
Some of these outfits will be included as part of the Cursed Sails pass while others have to be purchased from the Item Shop as part of the Pirates of the Caribbean bundle for 3400 V-Bucks at a discounted price instead of 5200 V-Bucks. Here's all you get in the bundle:
