How to build Kart Racer in LEGO Fortnite
The Kart Racer in LEGO Fortnite is one of the many new exciting items added to the game with the v30.40 content update. It is a fast and fun way to travel across the map or race with your friends. While building it is relatively easy, compared to many other items in the game, it requires a lot of materials and time to finish.
This article will break down how to build your own Kart Racer in LEGO Fortnite.
Steps to make Kart Racer in LEGO Fortnite
1) Acquire the required materials
To build the Kart Racer in LEGO Fortnite, you require a lot of items:
- Wooden Rod - 12
- Granite - 24
- Cord - 8
- Frostpine - 8
- Flexwood - 4
- Plank - 4
- Flexwood Rod - 2
- Frostpine Rod - 2
- Wood - 11
Wood and Granite can be found in the Grasslands. Plank and Wooden Rod can later be carved using Wood. Flexwood can be found in the Dry Valley and can be carved to make Flexwood Rod. Frostpine can be found in the Frostlands and can be carved to make Frostpine Rod. A cord can easily be obtained from Vines.
If you are playing the Sandbox Version, you get an unlimited supply of these items in your inventory.
2) Building the Kart Racer
After you have acquired all the items, head to the Build Menu and hit the Vehicles tab. Place the car jack of the Kart Racer in an empty location.
Following this, go near the car jack and you should see the interaction button that says "Start Build!" Enter it and start building the Kart Racer. There will be five assembly stages to build the Kart Racer:
- Stage 1 - Vehicle Base 04, Vehicle Base 07
- Stage 2 - Large Driver's Seat, Platform Bumper 01, Vehicle Base 04
- Stage 3 - Medium Power Cell, Medium Front Brush Guard, Front Bumper 01
- Stage 4 - Medium Steerable Wheels, Medieval Railing 01
- Stage 5 - Large Powered Wheel, Slate Thin Floor 01
Once you complete all the five stages, the car jack should disappear and the Kart Racer will be on the ground. You can now use the Kart Racer in LEGO Fortnite to travel anywhere in the map. However, do not go beyond shallow water level as the vehicle will drown and there is no way to get it back.
