How to change Victory Screens in Fortnite Save The World

Fortnite Save The World is, without a doubt, an important aspect, providing the foundation for the Battle Royale mode and essentially being responsible for all the success the game has seen. While Epic Games has largely shifted its focus to the Metaverse, Save The World is still beloved among fans, with players logging in to this day to engage in the PvE experience.

While the mode rarely receives substantial updates, that doesn't mean players are hindered from having fun with Fortnite Save The World. A recent X post shared by @transhelsie shows how players can modify the Victory Screens they get after completing a mission in Fortnite Save The World.

The player did so by sharing an instance of a modified Victory Screen, featuring a hilarious string of scenes with Star-Lord from the Guardians of the Galaxy movies, proving how well changing Victory Screens can work.

Changing Victory Screens in Fortnite Save The World

If you want to replicate @transhelsie's hijinks in Fortnite Save The World, it is quite easy to do so by following these steps:

  1. Navigate to this folder on your PC: C:\Program Files\Epic Games\Fortnite\FortniteGame\Content\Movies\VictoryMovies
  2. Here, paste a video you want to feature as your Save The World Victory Screen.
  3. Change the name of the pasted video to the Victory Movie you want to replace. For example, as explained by @transhelse, you can change the name of the video to SeverTether_v1.

With that, you will have modified your Save The World Victory Screen to a video of your choice, allowing you to celebrate your mission completion in your own way, whatever it may be.

Should you change the Victory Screens for Fortnite Save The World?

While the idea of personalized Victory Screens seems great, one may wonder whether it is safe to do so by Epic Games' standards. As of now, @transhelsie hasn't reported any issues with her game after modifying the Victory Screen, so there shouldn't be much of an issue with this change and it should be largely harmless.

However, it is important to remember that, if Fortnite undergoes a significant update, the files for the game on your PC are bound to be changed, added, or removed. This could lead to the Victory Screen being reset to default, causing you to redo the entire process.
