How to get the IG-11 skin in Fortnite
The IG-11 skin in Fortnite was first added to the game in Chapter 5 Season 3 with the update v30.40 on August 12, 2024. As per Star Wars lore, IG-11, also known as Eyegee-Eleven, was an IG-series assassin droid. It was a bounty hunter during the New Republic Era who took on a bounty that involved killing Grogu. However, as fate would have it, The Mandalorian intervened and stopped it from executing the task at hand.
IG-11 was then reprogrammed and became Grougu's protector. Towards the end, the assassin droid made the ultimate sacrifice by self-destructing. In the process, it took out over a dozen of Moff Gideon's Stormtroopers and saved the lives of Cara Dune, Greed Karga, The Mandalorian, and, of course, Grogu.
While IG-11's time in the Star Wars franchise was short-lived on screen, the droid now lives on in the Metaverse. How to get the IG-11 skin in Fortnite in Fortnite Item Shop: Price, availability, and other details
As of today (August 13, 2024), the IG-11 skin is listed in the Fortnite Item Shop under the "Star Wars" tab. The droid can be purchased via the IG-11 Bundle and is associated with The Mandalorian Set.
The IG-11 Bundle comprises these four cosmetic items:
- IG-11 (Outfit)
- IG-11 (LEGO Outfit)
- Grogu (Back Bling + Reactive)
- IG Droid Destructor (Pickaxe)
If you are interested in obtaining all the cosmetics and items that are part of the IG-11 Bundle, you can purchase them at a discounted price of 2,100 V-Bucks. You can also buy the cosmetic items and the IG-11 skin in Fortnite separately.
IG-11 (Outfit) will cost 1,500 V-Bucks and is paired with IG-11 (LEGO Outfit). The IG Droid Destructor (Pickaxe) and Grogu (Back Bling + Reactive) will cost 800 and 600 V-Bucks respectively.
How long will the IG-11 skin stay in the Fortnite Item Shop?
