"How was Narnia?": Community hilariously reacts to Fortnite glitch launching player into the sky in Chapter 5 Season 3
Fortnite has no shortage of bugs and glitches. Much like other online games, Epic Games' Battle Royale title is often prone to discrepancies in the gameplay due to the amount of things that go into making the game work. However, while glitches are usually seen as inconveniences that take away from the gameplay experience, some of these bugs can make for hilarious and memorable moments.
One such incident was highlighted in a recent Reddit clip shared by u/TJB926GAMIN. Here, the player can be seen in a solo Zero Build match, donning the Snowstrike Outfit and fighting the Cerberus Boss NPC at the Grim Gate POI. However, as the player battled it out with Cerberus, they were treated to Cerberus' signature move, causing them to be launched high into the sky.
The Reddit clip featuring the bizarre yet hilarious glitch ignited a flurry of equally hilarious reactions from the community, with Reddit user u/ProgrammerAromatic94 referencing the classic Chronicles of Narnia and commenting:
"How was Narnia?"
Other members of the community took to the comments to chime in with their own takes regarding the glitch. Reddit user u/Ampharosite181 funnily suggested how the player should try replicating the glitch with the Magneto Gauntlets Mythic for that extra low gravity boost. Reddit user u/Green_Mikey joked about how the player was in possession of a Medallion inspired by the Greek God Icarus.
Meanwhile, user u/BodaciousFunkyKong jested about how the glitch provided the player with a great look at the entire Chapter 5 Season 3 map. Reddit user u/Mario101010101, on the other hand, expressed their appreciation for the player's choice of wardrobe, drawing comparisons to characters from Destiny 2.
What caused the Fortnite glitch that launched the player into the sky?
While it is difficult to pinpoint the issue that led to the player's unintentional trip to the stratosphere in Chapter 5 Season 3, it is possible that the glitch has something to do with the lag spike that the player witnessed. If you look closely, it can be seen that the player's internet connection suffered a drop as soon as they were launched.
This could mean that the player's poor connection to the match could have led to the game glitching out and messing with their coordinates on the map, leading to the drastic rise in altitude.
