"I don’t think we’ll see this skin in a while": Ava Kris Tyson controversy could potentially lead to MrBeast Fortnite skin being vaulted

The MrBeast Fortnite skin has been one of the more random yet beloved Icon Series Skins in the game. However, considering the recent controversies surrounding Ava Kris Tyson, a prominent member of the MrBeast crew, the skin may never return to the Item Shop and potentially lead to the skin being vaulted for good.

This was brought up in a recent Reddit post shared by u/Dvid020510, where the player expressed how the MrBeast Fortnite skin is unlikely to return to the Item Shop anytime soon, owing to the recent controversies around the MrBeast brand as a whole, with the player stating:

The player pointing out the possibility of the MrBeast skin ignited a flurry of reactions from the community. Reddit user u/TheArgonianBoi77 highlighted how this is a phenomenon that the community has witnessed in the past and the best example of this is the Travis Scott Fortnite skin. Travis Scott has not been seen in the Item Shop for a long time, potentially due to the controversy surrounding the Astrofest Music Festival.

Meanwhile, Reddit user u/MekaG44 highlighted how Epic Games recently collaborated with Tesla to bring the Fortnite Cybertruck to the game, so controversies should not play too big of a role in the fate of the MrBeast Fortnite skin. Reddit user u/Oleandervine suggested that MrBeast might not be in too deep in rough waters, citing his presence in the recent Monster Hunter ads.

Since the allegations and controversies surrounding Ava Kris Tyson are relatively fresh, it is important to realize that this is still a developing story, and it still is not clear as to how big of an involvement, if any, MrBeast has in this whole situation. This means that there is no definite answer as to whether Epic Games will vault the MrBeast Fortnite skin for now.

However, it is possible that MrBeast will not be gracing the Fortnite Item Shop with his presence should the situation worsen with more evidence coming to light.
