"I need to see someone do that from a skybase": Fortnite community reacts to player's Flint-Knock Pistol strategy
Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 3 has been ripe with content, as players constantly come up with ways to use the new and returning items being added to the game throughout the season. Such is the case with the Flint-Knock Pistol, the beloved weapon that was recently added back with the Pirates of the Caribbean collaboration alongside the Ship In A Bottle Mythic. Now, it seems players are putting these items to good use.
This is highlighted in a recent Reddit clip shared by u/IRS_Agent-636, where the player can be seen donning the Jack Sparrow Outfit in a Chapter 5 Season 3 match. While jumping off a hill, the player used four different Flint-Knock Pistols to thrust themself upward and forward. Once way up in the sky, the player used the Ship In A Bottle Mythic to push themselves even further and safely descend to the ground.
The player's strategy with the Pirates of the Caribbean items attracted attention from members of the community, with Redditor u/KatakiKraken suggesting a twist on the strategy and stating:
"I need to see someone do that from a skybase"
Other members of the community had their own takes on the Reddit clip, with Redditor u/beat53 joking about how the player was lucky that there wasn't an enemy waiting for them on the ground since all four of their Flint-Knock Pistols were unloaded. u/Ok_Association_7717 echoed these sentiments, highlighting how the Magneto Gauntlets Mythic and a Launch Pad would take a player much farther.
Meanwhile, Redditor u/TheMushroomSystem drew attention to the player's choice of skin with the Jack Sparrow Outfit, expressing confusion as to how the player was able to get it so quickly. To this, u/IRS_Agent-636 clarified that they purchased tiers for the Cursed Sails Pass with V-Bucks.
How to get the Flint-Knock Pistol in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 3
The Flint-Knock Pistol, the iconic weapon first released all the way back in Chapter 1 Season 8, has finally returned in Chapter 5 Season 3 and players can use this beloved item in creative ways, as showcased by the Reddit clip. Luckily, they can easily find the Flint-Knock Pistol since it is a common weapon.
You can find the Flint-Knock Pistol in floor loot and Chests. You can also find the Buried Treasure item by following the map trail and locating a Treasure Chest which is likely to contain a Flint-Knock Pistol.
