What are the Fortnite Cash Cups
Fortnite Cash Cups are essentially weekly online competitions for players with high ranks. Only ranked Battle Royale players who have reached Gold Rank and above and have their two-factor authentication enabled can participate.
Cash Cups usually take place across two rounds. In the first round, all eligible players compete for the cup. At the end of the first round, the top 50 players qualify for the second round. The second round takes place across roughly three hours during which the teams can participate in a maximum of 6 matches where they must aim to be the top-ranked players.
The teams with the top ranks are rewarded with cash amounts as decided in the season's rules. Chapter 5 Season 3 had regular Cash Cups, Zero Build Cash Cups, and Console Cash Cups that took place across different regions.
