Everything we know from the Fortnite Cybertruck trailer
Besides revealing the Cybertruck, the 25-second trailer features some familiar old faces and features. It begins with Fish Thicc struggling while holding onto a large metal chain as the camera pans to a Battle Bus and a Titan Tank.
This is an exciting easter egg and a major detail as it confirms that Fish Thicc, who was a part of Nolan Chance's Heist Crew in Chapter 4 is alive and kicking. This might be a subtle nod to the rumors of old characters and items returning to the game.
The trailer also features the all-too-familiar Titan Tank from Chapter 3. This might hint at the return of this beloved weapon, which can presently only be found in UEFN maps and creative experiences.
The camera then pans to a shot of the Tesla Cybertruck from behind which shows that the chains are being pulled by the truck alone, signifying its immense power. The trailer ends with Fishstick in the Cybertruck blowing a kiss to the camera, breaking the chains, and zooming off the screen. This is followed by the appearance of the Fortnite X Cybertruck poster.
This trailer introduces the Cybertruck to the game as well as hinting at the possible return of some popular characters. The futuristic vehicle is set to arrive on July 23, 2024, as part of the much-awaited v30.30 update.
