Fortnite iOS now available through Epic Games Store in EU

With the release of Chapter 5 Season 4, Epic Games has dropped another treat for players by bringing back Fortnite iOS on Apple devices in the EU region. The journey of Fortnite iOS since its ban in Chapter 2 Season 3 has been rather tumultuous. The developers have faced various hurdles in bringing the game back to iOS platforms, including significant legal pushback from Apple.

Despite these obstacles, Epic Games has managed to finally bring Fortnite iOS back. While the game’s release on iOS is currently limited to the EU region, it does give players hope about the developers potentially bringing the game back to other regions, presumably Japan in 2025.

How to get Fortnite iOS in the EU region?

To get Fortnite iOS for your Apple device in the EU region, first download the Epic Games Store. The Epic Games Store allows players to interact with the iOS version of the game without having to go through the Apple App Store.

Given below are all the steps you need to follow to download the Epic Games Store on your iOS device:

Go to any web browser on your iOS device (preferably Safari).
In the search bar, look for epic.download. This will take you to the official download page for the Epic Games Store on iOS.
Here, click on the button that says Install on iOS. This will lead to a pop-up that tells you that your iOS device is not set up to install marketplaces from the web.
To fix this, click on Ok and head to the settings app on your iOS device. Here, you should see a prompt saying Allow Apps From "Epic Games Inc". Press on the prompt and select allow.
Now, head back to your browser and press install for the Epic Games Store. This will lead to another pop-up asking you for permission to install the Epic Games Store.
Press on Install App Marketplace.

With that, you will have downloaded the Epic Games Store on your iOS device. You can now go into the store and download Fortnite iOS or any other games under Epic Games' massive catalog with ease. However, much like the game’s iOS release, the Epic Games Store is limited to Apple devices in the EU region.

The Epic Games Store's Android release, on the other hand, is global, allowing players all over the world to have a seamless experience when jumping into Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 4. As time goes on, players will undoubtedly wait for the day Fortnite iOS makes a full-fledged return to Apple devices across the globe.
