Fortnite leak hints at upcoming skin that displays Loading Screens

According to the latest Fortnite leak, it would seem that Epic Games is working on a brand-new skin. Unlike other customizable cosmetic items that feature a variety of options for players to choose from, this one will be a bit different. The information was brought to light by ImPeQu who has been accurate about numerous things over the years.

The most recent piece of information that came to pass was the Bunker Landmark that housed Weapon X (Wolverine) and Wastelander Magento. ImPeQu had provided an early in-game video render to showcase the Landmark in detail.

Coming back to the upcoming skin, it would seem that players will be able to choose Loading Screens to feature on their character's t-shirt. That is rather unique as no other skin does this at the moment. That said, here is everything we know about this upcoming cosmetic type.

Fortnite leak sheds light on upcoming customizable Loading Screen option

As mentioned previously, ImPeQu suggests that a new skin is in the making. Players will be able to customize the character's t-shirt using Loading Screens. Given that some skins can be personalized with Emoticons and Item Wraps that are in their locker, this new cosmetic may follow suit. Players may be limited to Loading Screens that they own in-game. This is what ImPeQu had to say about the upcoming cosmetic item:

"Indicates that this Loading Screen cannot be used with cosmetics that have Loading Screen item variants (e.g. a loading screen texture can be used as a T-shirt decal)."

Based on another reliable Fortnite leaker who goes by the name Wensoing, the cosmetic item being talked about is currently encrypted. They believe it is using the codename "Gallium". That said, this cannot be confirmed at the moment.

When could this new Fortnite skin be added?

With Chapter 5 Season 3 ending on August 16, 2024, the timeline for having this new skin in-game is running out. As such, this cosmetic item will likely be featured in Chapter 5 Season 4. Given that Epic Games usually keeps new items in reserve for major updates and/or new stages of the storyline, they will stick to this pattern.

That said, more information about this new type of skin is bound to surface in the coming days. Given how unique it is, there is bound to be a considerable amount of hype surrounding it. The information that was obtained by ImPeQu during the Fortnite downtime today (August 6, 2024) was only the tip of this proverbial iceberg. More is bound to follow.
